Dragon Moon Shine comes bottled at 80 proof / 40% Alc. by Vol. is actually good enough and smooth enough to use as a white sipping whiskey, Or 100 proof / 50% Alc. by Vol. a little warmer, a little cleaner, but still smooth enough and tasty enough to sip, but if that’s not your thing, then here are a few suggestions on what to do with it, feel free to let us know what your favorite way to drink our Dragon Moon Shine is.

Apple Moon

  • 2 oz Dragon Moon Shine
  • 5 oz fresh apple cider
  • 3 to 5 dashes of Fee Brothers Old Fashion Aromatic Bitters

Prohibition Moon

  • 2 oz Dragon Moon Shine
  • 6 oz pineapple juice
  • 1 oz grenadine syrup

Southern Moon

  • 2 oz Dragon Moon Shine
  • 6 oz southern sweet tea

Swamp Moon

  • 2 oz Dragon Moon Shine
  • 12 oz fresh lemonade sweetened to taste
You can substitute frozen concentrate if you wish

  • 2.5 oz Dragon Moon Shine
  • 0.75 oz white vermouth
  • dash of orange bitters

Fill a mixing glass with ice, and place a martini glass nearby. Pour the Shine and vermouth into your mixing glass. Add a couple dashes of bitters.
Strain the mixture into your drinking glass.

Orange Moon

  • 2 oz Dragon Moon Shine
  • 1 oz orange liqueur
  • 1 oz ginger liqueur
  • 1 dash orange bitters

  • 2 oz Dragon Moon Shine
  • 10 fresh mint leaves muddled
  • 2 lime wedges (or a splash of lime juice)
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar
  • club soda or sparkling water

First, muddle the mint. Place it in the bottom of a cocktail shaker and use a cocktail muddler to press it until it becomes aromatic. When you’re muddling the mint, your goal isn’t to pulverize it or crush it. Instead, just bruise it slightly to help it release its fragrant oils. This should only take a few taps with your muddler!

Second, shake! Add the Dragon Moon Shine, lime slices or juice, sugar, and a handful of ice to the cocktail shaker, and shake it vigorously until the ingredients are completely combined and chilled.

Then, strain your mojito. Strain the contents of the cocktail shaker over a glass filled with ice. Top your glass with soda water, and garnish it with lime slices and more fresh mint sprigs. Finally, taste and adjust.
